The Tiguan III
Scroll through the Tiguan’s promotional material and you are likely to find clean urban family images on smooth asphalt surrounded by even cleaner render-like glass buildings. Call me old fashioned but when given an SUV like this, I just want to see it on the gritty mountain roads its off-road system is meant to be climbing. Well OK… that and the SUV appeared unexpectedly dusty for the photo shoot so I figured it's better to find a reason for that. The current generation Tiguan is a cushion comfy ride as always though I was recently reminded that this feature in particular depends not only on the tyres and the suspension but also on the driver. It’s not always that you feel you’re driving on puffy clouds when testing exactly how vertical a slope you can conquer. That said the Tiguan conquered beautifully both motorways and barely existing mountain trails and wore its dusty windshield with the summer pride fully befitting its teal aquatic colour nuances. Next stop: I’d say a sea coast…
