Sunset at the Harbour
Out of season Chania is quiet... or so it seems until evening comes. As dusk falls upon the Old Venetian Port, the empty streets fill up with locals and occasional tourists ready to brave the notorious winter winds for a stroll to the lighthouse, a meal or a drink. Firelit clouds glide through the sky nonchalantly, unperturbed by the budding night life underneath. The street lights come to life with a seductive glimmer. Sweet laughter mixes with the sounds of the waves and tempts you to cosy up in a bar or just walk infinitely. All you need is a steady scarf and a wind-proof jacket.
