Rothenburg ob der Tauber
If one day you woke up in a medieval mood, Rothenburg ob der Tauber would make a very fine choice for a town to visit. In fact, it's so medieval I'm certain Lancelot himself would feel right at home. The town looks so authentic, from the beautifully decorated buildings to the shops selling swords, spears, knight armor and chastity belts. For those of you inclined towards more contemporary souvenirs, jewellery and teddy bears are also available of course. Sweet tooth owners beware - the chocolate snow balls are way too heavenly to resist!
