A Rethymno Carnival
As carnival times engulf the globe once again, Crete's Rethymno was ready to celebrate despite the unpleasant weather. So what if there is some rain? Just be careful not to get electrocuted and move on! Your current storyteller is not the one saying that, the lovely DJ kept slipping that gentle reminder in together with the powerful pop songs which kept the rhythm going for the endless rows of skeletons, ducks, flamingos, computers, angels, devils and ice cream fairies. It's a fully inclusive carnival - all creatures of all ages and abilities are welcome to have fun, be it parading or spectating in full carnival attire.
