Goto sparkles
What to do when stranded on a beach at sunset? Shoot some exquisite GOTO pieces of jewellery of course! Followed closely by the perplexed looks of our parasol neighbours and their boutique yorkie Bonbon, we proceeded to burry diamond studs in the sand, splash beach waves on wedding rings, undress a spontaneous model and nearly return an emotionally important seashell back to its origins. Between my personal love of sparkles and the GOTO representative’s tenaciousness, we managed (surprisingly) not to lose a single piece of jewellery… though one particular ring came dangerously close to being washed away together with quite possibly a few salaries.
Need some expert tips on beachfront jewellery photography? Here’s the most important one of all: do not forget mosquito repellent! I’m now convinced there is a special, extra bloodthirsty mosquito subspecies that comes out at moonlight to bite you in places you never thought possible. Either that or the dwindling numbers of tourists left the local mosquitos so hungry that they had to compensate by sucking the life out of whomever was around. I wonder if Bonbon had the same issues...
