Frankfurt
When it comes to skyscraper skylines in Europe, Frankfurt does quite well. The tall reflective buildings are everywhere and you can easily explore different views from bridges and buildings or simply roam around and feel like a very, very tiny human. What few other cities have though is a charming little Old Town right in the heart of that modern commercial skyline. With a pinch of Medieval mood and a mug of mulled wine, the breezy January evenings can become rather heartwarming.
