Still air, barely breathable. 38 degrees. Not a drift of a breeze, not even along the river. It's quiet - everyone is hiding indoors hoping soon the temperature will drop. Surprisingly this is Düsseldorf, a city where air conditioning is not even popular due to the fairly cool location. For once it's not only photographers crawling out at dusk, it's everyone looking for a breath of fresh air. Auburn skies light party boats, the hip crowd heads for a night out, suddenly the city is alive again. What better time to have a cocktail and enjoy the sunset?
